RENDITION CANCER PREVENTION HOME RAISING FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH
Tuesday, 03 May 2016 09:46

The 2016 Rendition Cancer Prevention Home is being auctioned on Saturday 28 May at 2.30pm
during a day of fabulous family-friendly entertainment and activities at Lightsview, Adelaide's
newest suburb.

Built by Rendition Homes, the Cancer Prevention home raises funds for the Flinders Foundation and, in particular, SA Neurological Tumour Bank – last year contributing to research into brain and spinal cord cancers in South Australia.

Brain cancer remains the leading cause of cancer death for young people under 39 and children under 10 – but is the most under-studied of all cancers in Australia. In 2016, the funds raised will be used to support cancer research at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer.

Now open for inspection, the architecturally designed European-inspired home encompasses the very latest in contemporary features. The property is Torrens titled and includes quality ‘turnkey’ finishes as well as a range of upgrades including air conditioning, stone bench tops in the kitchen, glass splashbacks and intercom with remote door release.

The Rendition Cancer Prevention Home is located at Lightsview, an urban renewal project being developed by CIC Australia (part of the Peet Group) and Renewal SA, that’s earned national and international attention for its innovation and design.

It was named Australia’s best masterplanned community by the Urban Development Institute of Australia in 2014.

The home is also generously supported by Toop&Toop, founded by cancer survivor Anthony Toop in 1985.  Seasoned auctioneer, Bronte Manuel will take charge on 28 May 2016 – conducting the auction of this spectacular home.

The Rendition Cancer Prevention Home is part of Lightsview’s principal sponsorship of Ride Like Crazy, proudly supported by the South Australia Police. Previously Ride Like Crazy has fundraised more than $800,000 for the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation and Neurosurgical Research Foundation.
